b u l l e t i n A wide bulletin board hangs on the wall just inside the cafeteria, smothered in random notices, most of which are outdated and useless. Two brightly colored statements hang in the center, one addressed to new staff members and the other to test subjects but the messages are remarkably similar. Both request, or politely demand, that new residents report for a briefing on compound procedure, rules, and responsibilities. {New members or guests considering joining should view the information on this board.} |

t h e : f i l e s Basic information is kept in digital files on all compound residents, staff and subject alike. This basic information is accessible to all. Information of a more sensitive nature is under restricted access not to be viewed by subjects. Staff is instructed to memorize access codes to this section of the database.{Applications will be posted on this board and accepted characters will remain here. See OOC rules for how to properly apply.} |

a r c h i v e s In the compound someone could always be watching. Old recorded footage from the various cameras hanging around is stored here. {Good old fashioned archives, contact Admin or Supervisors to move threads back for you if they wind up here by mistake.} |

l i v i n g : q u a r t e r s This building is split into two halves, one for subjects and the other for staff. I'm sure you can guess which half is nicer. The staff section boasts rooms that resemble those of a hotel with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and windows. Subjects on the other hand are provided windowless rooms with nothing more than a bed, desk, and old computer. Subject doors are also locked down at curfew and not opened again until the next morning. |

c o u r t y a r d Set up between the buildings, the courtyard is a nice place to be as long as the weather is cooperating. There's a fountain, benches, and numerous flower beds. Subjects will hang out in the courtyard but they tend to get the feeling of being watched when they do. |

t h e : b l o c k Named for it's standard, square appearance, the plain gray building is home to the cafeteria in addition to a gymnasium (complete with indoor pool and track) and a lounge. Both subjects and staff hang about in The Block but they generally stick to seperate sides of the room. |

l a b o r a t o r y A polished, four-story building that rises above the others is the compound's laboratory where most of the research takes place. Subjects mainly come in when told to but occasionally wander in voluntarily due to illness. The first floor is primarily used for general interviews, blood draws, and overnight studies. Second floor is used for more complicated treatment and analysis of blood, tissue, etc. The third floor is for subjects who have fallen ill. Only the administrator and supervisors have access to the fourth floor. |

" w i l d e r n e s s " In the early days of the program, the compound was limited to only the buildings needed: a lab, living quarters, and a place for meals. Not long after Duvall discovered that his staff and test subjects were losing sanity from feeling so cooped up. The "wilderness" he created in response is entirely manmade but feels quite real. There is a wood consisting of hand planted trees and a little stream that leads to a pond with real fish! The "wilderness", fake though it may be has done it's job in easing the stress of anyone starting to feel too cooped up. |
